The health and safety of our people, clients and suppliers is of high priority.
In line with government guidelines for social distancing measures and work from home recommendations to limit the spread of COVID-19 within our community, from Monday the 29th of March our whole team will now be working from home until further notice. Whilst most of our team had already been working off site, and we trust seamlessly, remaining members will now be home based.
When Forrest Private Wealth was established, we set up our systems and technology on an anytime, anywhere basis. Whilst we did not foresee operating en masse under such circumstances, our investment in our remote working capabilities sees us fully capable of operating on a business as usual approach and maintaining a high level of service to our clients, irrespective of when and where we are working from.
As a valued client of Forrest Private Wealth, you can have full confidence in our ability to support you through these challenging times. We will continue to operate between 8am and 4.30pm and of course, for those who require, our planners are available for after-hours calls. If you require an after-hours (or before hours) call to discuss your current situation, events or set up, please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange.
We will continue to be guided from authorities on the COVID-19 situation and stay the course in the interest of protecting those around us.
We’re thinking of you, your family and your financial needs through this period, now more than ever, and where warranted, making considered and well thought out adjustments where they make sense.
During this time, access to advice is more crucial than ever. Recent history, the GFC, highlighted the importance of advice and not acting on emotion. Anecdotally we have heard of many non-advised clients acting on fear and making rash and potential wealth destroying decisions. As a client of Forrest Private Wealth if you have a family member, friend or colleague who could benefit from sound financial council during these times, please do not hesitate to pass on their details for one of the team to contact them.
In closing, a big thank you for the emails and calls through to our office simply providing good wishes. If anything, the events of early 2020 has given us all a chance to concentrate on the simple things in life and just being a good human to one another.
